See's Candies
This is about See's candy. I regard See's candy as the best you can buy. My big regret regarding See's is that for the past thirty or so years they haven't made any chocolate pecan rolls; my favorite.
About fifty years ago, some friends of my parents wrote to See's to see if they would provide the recipe to their chocolate fudge. See's obliged, but also billed them $50.00 for a license to make the fudge for home use. This angered the friends so they passed the recipe along to everybody they knew and now everyone I know makes this fudge.
The recipe may still be proprietary so I won't give it here.
