People of "Color"?

I believe in equality for all people, however some people seem to want to limit themselves by identifying only with a portion of the people. If you want to enrich your life, drop the adjectives that limit you such as "white", "black", "Chinese", "Jewish", "Christian" etc. followed by the word "American". We are Americans first! We are humans before that and we are all God's children, descendants of Adam which just means "Man" or mankind. It is right to feel connected to your own culture and way of being but one must try to connect with all people and try to understand their way of being; more, to help them understand your ways. The more understanding one has, the richer the life one will be able to lead, adapting to other cultures and individual beings. Don't be shy. Be bold in yourself and caring of others. Push the limits of your comfort zone and if you possibly can, eliminate those limits all together. Remember, mankind is grouped in many ways, as family, neighborhood, culture, nationality etc. None is necessarily better that the other and all can benefit by learning from others. Make yourself better and make the world a better place! Warren
